Daniel Neuman RD MSc CDE

Expert in nutrition and wellness

Meet Daniel Neuman, our lead Registered Dietitian at Xone Precision Medicine. With over 10 years of academic education and research, Daniel brings deep scientific insight and clinical precision to his role. Originally from Edmonton, Canada, he holds dual BSc degrees in Immunology and Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Alberta, and completed his MSc in Molecular Medicine at Humboldt University in Berlin, where his research focused on both immunology and genetics.

At Xone, Daniel leads the integration of advanced nutrition science into our precision care model, using cutting-edge tools like continuous glucose monitors, AI-powered food tracking, genetic and microbiome testing, and detailed nutrition labs. He translates complex data into clear, actionable strategies that support better health and long-term wellness.

Daniel’s approach blends evidence-based science with care centered on each patient’s unique needs and goals. He considers the emotional, social, and cultural factors that influence eating, and his training in culinary arts adds an experiential, hands-on dimension to care. He teaches international-themed cooking classes and brings his passion for integrating food science with culinary arts to design nutrition plans that are both effective and enjoyable.

Beyond his work at Xone, Daniel remains deeply engaged in the broader health community. He is a clinical dietitian at Preventous Collaborative Health in Calgary, a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), a guest lecturer at the University of Alberta, and a published author in academic journals. He is also a certified yoga instructor, trained in Thailand, bringing a mindful, integrative perspective to health.

Outside of work, Daniel stays active through yoga, long-distance running, and hockey, and enjoys exploring the outdoors with his energetic border collie.
