Nick Wynne

Expert in biochemical pathways, precision medicine, and aging biology

Born and raised in Calgary, Nicholas moved to Ontario to pursue a double major in Biology and Biochemistry from Western University. This provided him with a solid foundation in biochemical pathway analysis, protein folding, precision medicine, foundational genetics, and the structure and function of biological macromolecules. Concurrently with his degree, Nicholas’ passion for entrepreneurship and business development inspired him to establish a supplement company. Under his leadership, the team secured a provisional patent and the highest-class Natural Health Product license from Health Canada for a formulation that combats the adverse side effects of alcohol metabolism.

Since joining the team, Nicholas has eagerly applied his academic and entrepreneurial background to further his understanding of the biology of aging. He is dedicated to advancing scientific research and business development at Xone, focusing on optimizing healthspan and reducing the risk of age-related diseases through the design of comprehensive multi-omic screens. Eager to promote the translation of science from bench to bedside, he emphasizes the need to digest and communicate science in ways to make it accessible for a multi-disciplinary team.

Outside of work, Nicholas stays healthy through regular workouts and maintains a balance between analytical thinking and creative expression by playing the drums, guitar, and bass.
